ChartDeck Developer API docs Account Get an API key

Welcome

The ChartDeck Developer API - economic calendar, liquidation model, order flow, news and market data for your own code.

The ChartDeck API gives your own programs the data behind the ChartDeck terminal: the economic calendar, the Strata liquidation model, aggregated order flow, footprints, news, TWAP tracking and market data from the exchanges ChartDeck records. It is read-only: nothing in it can place an order, move money or touch an account.

  • REST at https://api.chartdeck.trade/v1/... with JSON answers.
  • Streaming over one WebSocket at wss://api.chartdeck.trade/v1/stream for live candles, trades, liquidations, flow and calendar releases.
  • Webhooks that POST signed events (calendar releases, your own alerts) to your server.
  • SDKs for Python and JavaScript, and an OpenAPI document at https://api.chartdeck.trade/v1/openapi.json.

#Who can use it

Every account can make keys; without an API tier they are on the free sandbox tier, which answers data routes from recorded data. Live data needs an API tier: Starter, Developer or Business, bought on its own (no chart plan needed), and the Elite chart plan includes the Starter tier. See Tiers.

#Where to go next

  1. Quick start: a key and your first request in five minutes.
  2. Concepts: units, scopes, attribution and pagination in one page.
  3. API reference: every operation, generated from the routes the API serves.

The Developer API documentation is in English.
