CS2011

error name is not supported in ChartScript.

#What it means

This name exists in other charting script languages, but ChartScript does not support it. Often there is a ChartScript way to do the same thing, which the editor suggests.

#Typical cause

  • Code converted by hand from another language.
  • Older names such as request.security (ChartScript uses request.tf and request.market) .

#How to fix it

Use the ChartScript equivalent the message or quick fix suggests. The mapping table lists them.

#Example

ChartScriptError: CS2011
//@chartscript 1
indicator("Daily close", { overlay: true })
plot(request.security("BINANCE:BTCUSDT", "1D", close))

Fixed

ChartScriptOpen in editor
//@chartscript 1
indicator("Daily close", { overlay: true })
plot(request.market("BINANCE:BTCUSDT", "1D", close))
  • CS2010 — name is not available yet (coming in a later version of ChartScript).

The ChartScript documentation is in English for now; translations will follow.
